Making the Nautilus Interior fit inside the confines of the movie's exterior hull is quite a challenge. Harper Goff made a cross section of the Nautilus interior for Disney and Fleischer to plan out the action sequences in the movie 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Below are 17 images that I have cut from the completed illustration which is blacked out above. They appear below in no particular order.
Your challenge if you choose to accept it, is to come up with your own arrangement for "Making It Fit." For those who have graphic software on their computers, you could do it electronically. However, those who must print out the images and use a pair of scissors to arrange and rearrange, you are certainly not at a disadvantage and may even have an edge. You must use all the compartments in this challenge. Before you get started, I should tell you that Harper loved a good joke. He incorporated two hidden words on a couple of items in these drawings. Extra points to those who can find them! and how Harper arranged all the compartments, click the link below. If you want to accept the challenge, you should wait before looking at this page.
